Lancaster Historic Home Show, February 2010 at the Lancaster County Convention Center was a success for everyone who participated, attendees and exhibitors. Patrick from, Family Heirloom Weavers has allowed me to share this story:

During the weekend Patrick was approached by a nice lady interested in his reproduction textiles. In March 2010, Patrick received a phone call from the lady he had met at the show; turns out she is the curator for George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate & Gardens.  Family Heirloom Weavers was awarded a handsome contract to provide their one-of-a-kind reproduction textiles to the collection residing in the home of America’s First Hero.

George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate & Gardens is owned and maintained in trust for the people of the United States by the Mount Vernon Ladies Association, founded in 1853, and is the oldest national historic association in the country.

Lancaster PALancaster is the oldest inland city in the United States of America. It is a diverse, thriving community dedicated to preserving its' architectural heritage.

Nationally famous for the varied local architectural styles reflecting over 250 years of settlement, growth, and change this area has experienced.

This event will bring together owners of older buildings with professionals to help them care for, furnish, and upgrade their buildings in a historically sensitive manner. There will be demonstrations of traditional crafts and building methods, as well as, educational seminars.
